This website and the application CTO CLI are operated by Dr. Estera Kot, a private individual based in Poland. Contact: the e-mail address listed on her ORCID record.
This website
This site is static and is hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. GitHub may log standard server data such as IP addresses to operate the service, under GitHub's privacy statement. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request for the font files.
CTO CLI
CTO CLI is a personal command-line tool that Dr. Kot built for her own use. It connects to her own Google account through Google OAuth to read and organize her e-mail, manage her calendar, and access her files in Google Drive. It is not offered to the public, has no other users, and is not a commercial service.
What Google user data the application accesses
- Gmail: reading, labeling, drafting, and sending messages in the connected account.
- Google Calendar: reading and editing events in the connected account.
- Google Drive: reading and writing files in the connected account.
How the data is used
Data is processed only to carry out the actions Dr. Kot requests on her own account: sorting mail, preparing drafts, scheduling events, and filing documents. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, training machine learning models, or any purpose other than operating the tool for her.
Where the data is stored
OAuth tokens and any downloaded content stay on devices Dr. Kot controls. Nothing is uploaded to third-party servers beyond Google's own APIs. Tokens are stored in files readable only by her user account and can be revoked at any time from Google account permissions.
Sharing
Google user data obtained through CTO CLI is not sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party. The only exception is a legal obligation to disclose, which has never occurred.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until revoked or replaced. Downloaded content is kept as long as it serves the purpose it was downloaded for and is deleted afterwards. Revoking access in the Google account settings ends all further processing.
Limited Use disclosure
CTO CLI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and erase personal data concerning you, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since this site collects nothing and CTO CLI processes only Dr. Kot's own account, in practice such requests concern GitHub or Google as hosting and API providers.
Changes
Changes to this policy are published on this page with a new effective date.
